How does pricing work for the Workshop Sale?
Prices listed are for material cost, as-is. Materials are sold in their original sizes and cannot be pro-rated.
Workmanship and components to transform these pieces to the size you need/ into furniture can be added-on during your order.
Is price negotiable?
Prices are fixed for individual components of your order.
However, we may be able to pass on cost savings for bulk orders of multiple pieces, depending on the specifics of your order.
What's available at the Workshop Sale?
Basically, all the stuff we've been hoarding over the years that we were gonna use one day, that we've finally decided will be better off in the hands of someone that can use it now.
We'll be listing offcuts, raw materials, prototypes, samples, demo pieces, tools and other random things. We're working on getting all applicable listings into the catalog here, so please check back on the website, or follow us on Instagram (@tableguysg) as we'll announce updates there!
Can you send me the offcuts catalog?
Our offcuts vary day to day, depending on what's been used/ what's new from our projects. We do not maintain a running inventory of offcuts.
They are usually packed away, but will be available for browsing during our monthly Sale Sessions. To view offcuts, please click here to book a viewing.
Can I view these items before purchase?
Yes - all items sold under this sale are non-refundable, non-exchangeable and non-returnable for any reason, so please verify that the item is what you want before purchasing.
Workshop Sale Sessions
We conduct an open viewing session on the last weekend of each month, where you will be able to browse the items. Access is by appointment only, please click here to book.
Ad-hoc Viewing Appointment
Alternatively, if you wish to view a specific piece, we are also able to arrange an adhoc session for you. As these things are usually packed away for most of the time, advance notice is required for us to pull it out for you to view. Click here to arrange an ad-hoc viewing.
Can you transform materials into furniture for me?
Yes, basic slab furniture workmanship is available as an add-on. Please fill out all fields when adding your item to the cart, and checkout.
Checking out does not confirm your order - our sales team will contact you to clarify and finalise the specifics first. Your order is only confirmed when payment is received.
Is delivery included?
As these are generally small items that can fit in a private vehicle, we've separated out delivery fees so you have a choice on whether to opt for delivery.
Please select your preferred delivery option at checkout. Only floating shelves have an on-site installation option, all other products will be ready for collection/ dropped off pre-installed.
What condition are the materials in?
In general, our materials fall into 3 categories:
(1) Raw Material
This is unfinished and untouched material. It is raw wood that needs to be sanded and sealed in order to be used in daily life.
(2) Partially Finished Material
These are pieces that have been finished to some extent - they may be sealed on one or both sides. As they have been stored as material, they may or may not have cosmetic dings that can be removed with refinishing.
(3) Prototypes
Prototypes, samples and demo pieces have been finished for use, to demonstrate what's possible. However, due to storage reasons they may or may not have cosmetic dings.
Can you help me cut the materials to specific sizes/ shapes?
Yes*. Workmanship fees will apply.
Per piece workmanship fees are quoted in our product order form. Should you wish to request workmanship services on multiple pieces, please Whatsapp us for a quote as we may be able to offer a bulk price depending on the specifics of your project.
*We do not offer lathing services or thickness adjustment.
What kind of workmanship services can I add on?
General services such as trimming to size/ shape, as well as sanding, edging and sealing are available for add-on, and can be selected in your order.
More complex services such as joinery and preparation for floating shelves require assessment of the material you've selected, and may or may not be available.

How can I add on leg frames to these pieces?
We carry a limited selection of leg frames that can be added-on to your order. We will install these for you, if purchased.
Alternatively, many clients do procure their own leg frames, as there are many other designs out there that may fit your project better.
Note that some materials may not be suitable for some leg frames (eg some materials cannot be used as benches etc, some may be too small/ big to fit a certain leg type).

What does the workmanship fee cover?
Our workmanship fees cover the labour, materials and tools required to do the job.
Are these materials in good condition for DIY use?
Yes - these are materials that we have prepared and set aside previously, with the intention to use it in our projects if suitable.
They have already been treated and dried for use as material in indoor furniture-making. They are structurally ready for use.
However, cosmetically, many of these materials require further work, as they are raw materials. This refers to activities such as cutting, sanding and finishing in order to create a piece of furniture.
Will you touch up existing cosmetic dings before delivery/ pickup?
By default, all items in this catalog are listed as-is. Some items, particularly prototypes and demo sets, may have light cosmetic damage such as scratches or dents.
We encourage clients to view items in person prior to purchase.
Cosmetic touch ups may be possible, depending on the specific item. This will be assessed by our team, on enquiry.
