Checks, knots, splits and crevices are character formed by environmental forces in the course of the tree's growth, and are a hallmark of real wood that makes every piece unique.

No two pieces (even within the same trunk!) are 100% alike, which makes every piece precious.

Complimentary delivery to lift/ street level is included for orders above $800, and is conducted on working weekdays, between 9am to 6pm.

Solid wood is heavy, and requires planning to handle safely. Should your order require staircase use, please notify us so that we can quote you for the service.

It is the client's responsibility to ensure safe and prompt access for delivery and installation. In the event of a failed delivery, redelivery charges will apply based on the size of your order.

All tables are installed on-site. Should you have a specific preference on leg placement, please inform the installers when they arrive.

All our slabs can be customised to size, with straight and live edge cuts available for width.

We can help repurpose excess material (if any/ sufficient) to alternative furniture such as a coffee table/ side table etc.

Solid Wood Care:

Daily:
Clean table after every meal, do not leave spills/ debris to dry on the table.

Annual:
Maintenance oiling is recommended, this can be DIY-ed or you can purchase our service at a preferential rate.

Environment:
Keep out of direct sun, UV and rain. Ideal conditions are a bright shade, with stable humidity and temperature levels.

Repair:
There is a range of options for more serious user damage, please enquire to learn more about this.

As each piece is unique, reservations are non-refundable. You may reserve a slab for up to 7 calendar days for a non-refundable deposit.

Should you decide not to proceed with your reserved slab, your deposit may be used to purchase another piece or other services within 30 calendar days from date of deposit.

All Table Guy solid wood slabs are covered by a 2 year manufacturing warranty, unless indicated otherwise.

This covers structural cracks, insect and mold - basically things that shouldn't happen as long as the wood is stored properly indoors.

Outdoor use, user damage and cosmetic changes are not included under warranty.
